Ashlu Creek 230kV Transmission Line

Westpark Electric Ltd. recently completed the transmission line from the Ashlu Creek Substation to BC Hydro's 230kV transmission tap/switch structure.

Work consisted of design, procurement and installation of the overhead 230kV line, including fiber optics for site communications.

Swampy terrain and winter conditions posed challenges, but the project was still completed on time and on budget.
