Westpark again teamed with Wildstone Construction and Struthers Technical Solutions in 2016 to achieve the contract for the BruceJack substations.
A total of three stations, along with ancillary services were constructed, including a 138kV tap station at the point of interconnection, a 138kV x 69kV station that feeds the processing facilities, and an indoor 69kV station that feeds the mill and mining operations.
Challenges faced and overcome on this site include the extreme remoteness of the site, and construction through a harsh northern winter.
